Stock Control Operative

Working within our client's freezer department this role is within a busy warehouse team and incorporate a variety of tasks. To be suitable for this role you MUST be fit and healthy to work in a cold environment (relevant PPE will be provided) you must also be able to lift heavy items up to 25KG alongside have a relevant Counterbalance Forklift Licence. Regular overtime is available!

Location: Newmarket, Suffolk

Hours: Shift pattern 7 on 7 off Day shift,06:00-18:00 - 12 hours per shift.

Hourly Rate / Salary: £12.80 per hour (Inclusive of shift allowance of £0.60p)

Duration: Permanent

You will be hold a relevant Counterbalance Forklift licence for this role and be happy to move heavy items by hand on occasions. A manual role that undertakes a variety of tasks.

Job Duties:

* Operate Forklift and Pallett trucks in accordance with licences

* Load and unload vehicles within frozen storage areas reaching -18° C

* Manual handling of stock up to 25KG

* Complete paperwork such as load plans and pallet count correctly

* Ensure driver comply with dock procedures regarding handing in keys etc.

What we are looking for:

* Valid Counterbalance forklift license

* Fit and Healthy to lift 25KG on occasions
