Our client a well-respected and reputable membership body is currently looking for a Head of Learning, Education & Development. This is an exciting time to join to lead in what will be a transformational programme of development and digitalisation throughout the organisation's education and training provision.
The Role
Working alongside the Managing Director, you will be given the autonomy to strategise and implement learning and development solutions which will keep the sectors skills growth moving forward at pace. Responsible for the design, development and implementation of all aspects of the membership body’s professional development and education activities. The core elements of the role are:
- Strategic oversight for continued growth and success of the education and training provision
- Manage and further develop the external training provision
- Manage the Qualification Centre (NVQ's / Apprenticeships)
- Committees and Employer Groups engagement
- Quality and Compliance Management
- IT and resourcing
- Stakeholder management
Person Specification
Our client is looking for a forward thinking, dynamic and passionate learning, and development professional to lead on this project as well as be the operational lead on the daily running of the various E&T streams. This is an opportunity for someone to have a real impact on the services they offer to their members.
- Experience in accreditation and quality assessment of training and learning
- Demonstrate a good understanding of the regulatory requirements and conditions in relation to quality assurance of learning and education assessments.
- Extensive experience of managing a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including technical experts, consultants, and committees
- Commercial acumen, and experience with setting and managing budgets
- A firm understanding of the technologies that deliver and support learning in the 21st century
