Teacher of Maths
Location: York, North Yorkshire
Start Date: November 2024 or January 2025
Salary: £31650 - £49,084 per annum; this position is suitable for ECTs
Contract: Supply, Temporary, Part-Time or Full-Time

As such, we are currently recruiting for a number of Maths Teachers for placements starting in November 2024 and January 2025. Both part-time and full-time positions are available, with opportunities to apply for a permanent position in the future.  

As the successful Teacher of Maths, you will:

Be a qualified teacher with a PGCE, GTP, BEd, Cert Ed or BA with QTS, and have recent experience of working as a Teacher of Maths in the UK.
Be able to teach KS3 and GCSE Maths. A-Level Maths and Economics teaching experience is desirable, but not essential.
Be proven to raise and maintain attainment levels, keeping standards high.
Be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who leads by example.
Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills with all individuals, including pupils, colleagues and parents and carers.
Provide intervention and tutoring sessions where appropriate, mainly for borderline GCSE students.
