Job Title:Toolmaker
Hours:06:00 - 16:00 (4 days per week)

Pay Rate: £16.78 per hour - Negotiable

There is an immediate requirement for a Toolmaker to join a successful, Redditch based manufacturing company. The role will require the candidate to be responsible for manufacturing all tooling to engineering drawings for a variety of high industry aerospace customers across the UK

Main Responsibilities of the Toolmaker:
Manufacture extrusion, mould and finish dies from raw materials
Eradicating process variability and implementing robust controls (NPI)
Provide manual milling and surface grinding
Manufacture single-stage clip tools
Service and repair (PPM)
Ensuring the quality of partsKey Technical/Professional Competencies:
Apprentice trained time served toolmaker (or 5 years' experience in a toolroom).
Experience within a hot metal, heavy manufacturing environment, preferably producing aerospace/automotive products would be desired.
Strong working knowledge of engineering drawings.
Strong understanding of measuring equipment (Micrometres, height gauges understanding both imperial and metric)
