Teaching Assistant for Named Child / 1:1 Special Educational Needs (SEN) Support - SN3

What You’ll Be Doing
- Build positive, trusting relationships with a KS2 pupil, fostering independence and confidence.
- Adapt resources and activities to support the unique needs of the pupil.
- Assist in the development and execution of the child’s Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP).
- Support the child in transitions, behavior management, and social and emotional development.
- Communicate and coordinate with teachers, SENCO, and external agencies to optimize support.
About You
- Be able to do the job as described.
- Skilled at forming effective, nurturing relationships with children, adapting to their individual needs.
- Capable of risk assessment to ensure safety and well-being.
- Knowledgeable in the primary curriculum and comfortable using IT to enhance learning.
- Effective communicator, comfortable engaging with parents, staff, and external agencies.
