We currently have an exciting position for a Commercial Assurance Analyst to join our effective team. This is an opportunity for someone who is keen to develop their career within an Auditing & Assurance role. This key role will be working within the within Anglian Water's Commercial and Delivery Assurance team, working on the Capital Delivery Programme, working across AW's alliances and external frameworks ensuring that AWS effectively implements and delivers assurance and promotes compliance.

The role covers various areas of the business, and you will be collaborating with different stakeholders. You will require excellent communication and organisational skills to enable you to deliver reporting that requires you to investigate, challenge and if required improve processes to provide robust assurance.

Further to this, the role will incorporate assisting the wider Commercial Assurance Team on a variety of functions relating both to auditing assurance activities and administration of various databases and systems.

What you will be doing:

  • Auditing of suppliers regarding compliance of Bribery Act, GDPR Act, Modern Slavery Act and Operational Resilience legislation

  • Conduct reoccurring audits, for example, on supplier insurances and risk assessments, framework to invoice audits, bank changes, vendors for deletion

  • Production of monthly assurance reports to enable AWS to demonstrate compliance within the terms of the covenant

  • Production of the monthly Financial Controls report to demonstrate our compliance.

  • Ensure that Integrated Supply Chain is aware of and fulfils its obligations, regarding procurement procedures and compliance to include framework audits

  • Conduct appropriate tracking, monitoring and investigations to close out audits to ensure compliance is met at all times

  • Responsible to produce reports from SAP, Scanmarket (e-sourcing platform & contracts database) and various other databases

  • Support the administration and management of databases and systems including access permission, resolution of errors and system enhancement

  • Excellent MS Office application skills, particularly Excel, Word and Access
