Brownlee Cale are working with a Civil Engineering firm based in Yorkshire looking to bring on a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support their upcoming Civils project.

Role Responsibilities:

* Cost estimation and budget management. Accurate cost reporting at all stages of project lifecycle

* Manage and administer conttracts, including reviewing terms, ensuring compliance and mitigating risk

* Control costs throughout project, ensuring value for money, implementing cost control measures and identifiying saving areas

* Prepare regular financial reports for internal management and clients, tracking project expenditures, forecasts and identifying potential cost overruns

* Identity, assess and resolve any claims/disputes, working closely with internal teams to reach solutions

* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and internal contacts

* Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and complies with legal, regulatory and internal standards

Desired Experience:

* BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent education.

* NEC4 Contract Knowledge

* Commerical qualifications

* Minimum of 4-5 years of experience within Quantity Surveying

* Experience of Civil Engineering projects

* Technologically proficient in relevant softwares

* Ability to work both independently and within a team
