We're working with a global pioneer in broadcast technology, dedicated to delivering immersive visual experiences through cutting-edge virtual production, augmented reality, and real-time graphics.
Their innovative approach has earned them a reputation for producing visually stunning and technically sophisticated broadcasts that captivate audiences worldwide.
Owing to growth, they're looking to appoint an experienced Virtual Broadcast Technician with expertise in camera tracking and lens file management. If you have a passion for virtual environments and a knack for using Stype or Pixotope, we want to hear from you!
Virtual Broadcast Technician - Key Responsibilities:
* Operate and manage camera tracking systems, develop and maintain lens files, and troubleshoot tracking issues during live broadcasts.
* Lead the setup and configuration of Pixotope for virtual and augmented reality productions, collaborating on the design and optimisation of virtual sets and graphics.
* Use Stype, Zero Density, and ViZrt to create and manage virtual graphics and AR content while staying updated with the latest software features.
* Provide technical support during live broadcasts, resolving issues swiftly and working with the engineering team to ensure broadcast quality.
* Collaborate with creative and technical teams on innovative production workflows, train and mentor junior technicians, and document procedures and best practices.
Virtual Broadcast Technician - Skills Required:
* Proven experience in camera tracking and lens file management.
* Expertise in Pixotope, including setup and configuration.
* Proficiency with Stype, Zero Density, and ViZrt software.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Adaptability to rapidly changing technology and industry trends.
Virtual Broadcast Technician - Desirable Skills:
* Experience with other virtual production software and hardware.
* Familiarity with scripting and automation for virtual production workflows.
* Knowledge of broadcast engineering and live production environments.
