Hunter Philips is currently looking for an experienced HSE Advisor to join the newest onshore wind project for a world leader in offshore wind. You will have at least 3 years' experience in HSE within onshore renewables/windfarm construction and, throughout this 12-month contract, will drive a proactive HSE culture on the onshore site based in England.

Principal accountabilities:

1. Foster a proactive HSE culture by leading through example, engaging teams, leveraging data, raising awareness, sharing knowledge, and implementing lessons learned.

2. Promote data-driven risk management by encouraging proactive reporting and ensuring high-quality data management.

3. Support the continuous development and implementation of Ørsted's HSE systems, procedures, and documentation, including:

* Instructions, procedures, and contingency plans

* HSE management system (QHSE process landscape)

* Global/local emergency and crisis management

* Audit and compliance checks (ISO 9001/14001/45001/55001)

4. Plan and participate in safety meetings, Toolbox Talks, briefings, Safety Walks, inspections, HAZID/HAZOP workshops, and cultural programs.

5. Review HSE documentation, Risk Assessments, and Method Statements (RAMS).

6. Collaborate with contractors at both management and site levels to enhance safety, health, and environmental culture.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following qualifications, knowledge, and skills:

* At least 3-5 years' work experience with HSE, ideally from onshore renewables/windfarm construction.

* Excellent interpersonal skills with strong communication and presentation skills.

* IT literate (Microsoft office package, knowledge of Synergi is an advantage).

* Knowledge of route cause analysis and incident investigation.

* Demonstrable experience in dealing with 3rd party contractors in relation to HSE.

* Completed NEBOSH; (minimum level 3), or similar recognized HSE qualification.

* In date site safety passport (CCNSG or CSCS)

* Current clean UK driver's license

* Flexibility is required for occasional off project site visits for company and supplier internal/external meetings, which may also be overseas.

* The below would be advantageous but not essential:

* QHSE BSC, Diploma or equivalent level 6 qualification

* NEBISH or IEMA Environmental Management qualifications

* Qualified/certified Auditor

* Experienced in delivery of training courses / material.

* Prior Ørsted experience
