Location: South Kensington, London - Hybrid working: 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home
This is a great opportunity with Frasers Hospitality to embark on a career in hotel real estate development and investment with a global hospitality owner and operator covering the EMEA region.
In this role you will be required to support the Director Business Development in all areas from networking and sourcing opportunities, market research, feasibility, valuations, proposals for lease and management agreements and preparation of documents for board approval.
Role would ideally suit a recent graduate with a strong interest in hospitality real estate looking to join a business to develop new skills and grow a career.
What you'll be doing as a Development Analyst:
- Support the Director of Business Development in meeting agreed growth objectives
- Develop the skills required to source and manage opportunities that meet Frasers Hospitality growth objectives
- Develop and build relationships with new and existing industry contacts including brokers, consultants, valuers, Real Estate Investors, managers, developers and stakeholders
- Build and maintain relationships with operational managers and support functions within Frasers Hospitality and Frasers Property business.
- Collect, maintain, process and analyse data using Microsoft Excel
- Research and analysis of opportunities
- Build forecast profit and loss projections detailing key performance indicators;
- Preparation of proposals, presentations, Investment Memorandums, and other documents in line with company standards and formats for internal and external submission
- Exhibit a complete and clear understanding of Frasers Hospitality policies and procedures
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in a similar role as a Development Analyst
- Experience of meeting tight deadlines
- Detail oriented individual who has experience of preparing detailed written documents and reports to a high standard
- Experience of dealing and co-operating with a wide range of people across different countries and cultures - or able to demonstrate the willingness to learn
- Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and the ability to effectively manage time and workload.
- Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint knowledge - tested at interview
- Self-motivated with the ability to work alone as well as part of a wider team
- Eager to learn - this role whilst entry level is key to the growth of the BD team and the wider Hospitality portfolio. Successful candidates could expect to be managing projects of their own within 12-18 months
- Recent graduate with a degree ideally in Hospitality, Real Estate, Finance, Economics or Business administration
- Fluency in German or French extremely beneficial
