They are seeking a highly motivated Technical Support Technician to provide technical support to customers in Europe, North America, Asia and Worldwide. This role involves product development, formulation, optimisation, process improvement and testing. You will have the opportunity to visit customers around the world for product trials, customer support, product training, and troubleshooting. This role is predominantly lab-based at the UK facilities.

Responsibilities:

* Laboratory based, new product development, formulation, and testing.

* Optimisation and improvement of existing products and processes including support of production and quality.

* On-site customer product trials, technical support in person and on telephone, product training, and troubleshooting.

* Provide support to customers at product introduction phase or if resolving product related technical issues.

* Investigate and resolve customer enquiries and problems.

Candidate Profile
Technical Experience:

* Lab-based formulation work and/or product related technical support in inks, coatings, adhesives, or paints.

Education:

* STEM based A'Levels or equivalent.

Technical Skills:

* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot process related issues.

* Proficient in interpreting technical specifications, datasheets, and manufacturing guidelines.

* Knowledge of quality control practices and product formulation work.

Communication Skills:

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills for providing clear, concise technical feedback/results to customers and internal teams.

Personal Attributes:

* Willing to travel, when required to Europe, North America, Asia and other international locations

* Strong interpersonal skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams and customers.

* Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

* Full UK licence and valid passport.

* You must have the right to work in the UK, sponsorship is not available.
