Description
As a Bookings Administrator your responsibilities will include:
- Managing patient appointment schedules and records
- Providing administrative support to the Secretarial & Business Support department
- Ensuring patient confidentiality and data protection at all times
- Communicating with patients, staff, and other departments as necessary
- Maintaining an organised and efficient work environment
- Assisting in the preparation of reports and presentations
- Answering phone calls and dealing with enquiries in a polite and professional manner
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to the improvement of services
Profile
A successful Bookings Administrator should have:
- A strong background in administrative roles, preferably within a public sector and government environment
- Familiarity with the medical terminologies and systems
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Proficiency in using computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite
- A patient-focused approach and commitment to providing a high standard of service
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Job Offer
