The Role

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will play a vital role in supporting students' learning and well-being. Working closely with teachers and other support staff, you will help ensure every student has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering high-quality support to students in the classroom.
  • Leading small group interventions and 1:1 sessions.
  • Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging lessons.
  • Covering lessons in the absence of teachers where appropriate.
  • Assisting with the assessment and tracking of student progress.
  • Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
About You

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, and caring individual with a passion for education. You will:

  • Hold HLTA status or equivalent qualifications/experience.
  • Have experience working in a secondary school setting.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be adaptable, resilient, and committed to supporting students' success.
