The successful Graduate Geotechnical Engineer will be working on a wide variety of projects, supervising rigs, writing factual, interpretive and design reports and ensuring projects run efficiently by following guidance and focusing on training. Site work including gas and groundwater monitoring, soil sampling and borehole logging will be frequent, so an ability to work outside in a hands on role is essential.

To be considered for the Graduate Geotechnical Engineer role you should:

• Have a degree in geotechnical engineering, engineering geology, geoscience, physical geography or civil engineering (with a focus on ground investigation and soil mechanics).
• Live in Edinburgh.
• Hold a valid UK driving licence.
• Be willing to show enthusiasm to learn.
• Have a have the full right to work in the UK.
• Experience in geotechnical engineering is preferred but not essential.
