Role Summary
The Management Accountant will play a pivotal role in managing financial data, supporting decision-making, and ensuring smooth financial operations. You will be a go-to person for financial queries, assist in the budgeting process, handle management and year-end accounts, and contribute to audits. Key Responsibilities
- Month/Year-end Processing: Handling financial close processes and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Management Accounts: Preparing draft management accounts for review and presentation.
- Budget Ownership: Taking charge of the budgeting process, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
- Audit Responsibility: Leading audit tasks and ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Reporting: Creating various reports as required, including balance sheet reconciliations and depot reporting packs.
- Business Partnering: Working collaboratively with internal and external teams to achieve business goals.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in finance roles.
- Qualification: Actively studying towards or already qualified in CIMA or an equivalent accounting qualification.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate with others.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is a must.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to manage and complete tasks through effective business partnering.
