Senior Structural Engineer - Birmingham
£45,000 - £55,000 + Benefits

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer to join a growing team in Birmingham, working on high-profile projects across the UK. From designing large, complex developments (£5M - £200M) to assessing and refurbishing existing structures, this role offers a diverse workload in commercial, residential, and industrial sectors. You'll play a key role in delivering innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective structural solutions while developing your leadership and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, budget, and deadlines are met.

* Carry out structural design and analysis in line with Eurocodes.

* Oversee design drawings and technical deliverables.

* Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technicians.

* Conduct site visits, inspections, and reporting.

Requirements:

* MEng, BSc, or MSc in Structural or Civil Engineering.

* Chartered (or near Chartered) with IStructE or ICE.

* Experience in designing concrete, steel, masonry, and timber structures.

* Proficiency in design software (SCIA Engineer, TEKLA Structural Designer, TEDDS, etc.).

* Strong technical report writing and communication skills.

* UK driving licence.
