My Client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Site Manager to oversee the construction/renovation of a school in Cobham, Surrey. The Site Manager will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Project Management:**
- Oversee all on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Develop and manage the construction schedule, coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, making adjustments as necessary to stay on schedule and within budget.

2. **Team Leadership:**
- Supervise and direct all on-site personnel, including subcontractors and labourers.
- Conduct regular site meetings to communicate project expectations, provide updates, and address any issues.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment, ensuring high morale and teamwork.

3. **Health and Safety:**
- Implement and enforce strict health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments, addressing any hazards or violations promptly.
- Ensure all personnel are trained in and adhere to safety standards and procedures.

4. **Quality Control:**
- Monitor workmanship and materials to ensure they meet project specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits, addressing any deficiencies or non-compliance issues.
- Coordinate with quality assurance teams to ensure all work meets the required standards.

5. **Documentation and Reporting:**
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to senior management and the client, outlining project status, challenges, and achievements.
- Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained and maintained throughout the project.

**Qualifications:**

- Proven experience as a Site Manager, particularly in school construction or similar projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Exceptional organisational and time-management abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.

Valid CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid
