Practice Educator (HCPC /NMC)

Salary: Up to £44,000

37.5 hours per week

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Practice Educator to join our client's team. As a Practice Educator, you will play a key role in facilitating learning and development for nursing and clinical professional students within neurological care This position requires someone with a nursing background, a passion for education, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse or Clinical Professional with a degree at level 6 or working towards this level
  • Registered with NMC or HCPC
  • Completed Practice Supervisor/Practice Assessor training
  • Demonstrated evidence of continuous professional development
  • Strong working knowledge of clinical assessment skills, evidence-based practice, and national health and social care agendas.
  • Competent in coaching, appraisals, mentoring, and able to independently implement innovative practices.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the learning and development of nursing and clinical professional students within the practice setting
  • Provide mentoring, coaching, and support to students to enhance their clinical skills and competence
  • Collaborate with academic partners to ensure the integration of theoretical knowledge with clinical practice
  • Assess and evaluate the progress of students, providing constructive feedback and guidance for improvement
  • Act as a mentor and role model for students, promoting professional values and ethical practice
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of educational programs and resources for students and staff
