Connected Search Group is working exclusively with a long established, Sheffield-based, manufacturer that supplies a wide range of market sectors including construction, automotive, caravans, and modular building. The company employs 70 staff has annual turnover of £15 million.

There is a vacancy for an Area Sales Manager for one of the companies product divisions. This particular divison is one of the largest fabricators of its product in Europe and provides a comprehensive cutting and CNC fabrication service for many industries, including caravans, PVC doors, underfloor heating, and vehicle bodies.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the Area Sales Manager will be responsible for developing sales with new and existing customers.

Main Duties of the Area Sales Manager:
• Developing sales with new and existing clients
• Developing new business opportunities
• National role
• Progressing contract quotations.
• Managing Sales Leads generated from our Digital marketing platforms.
• Providing Technical support to contractors and end users
• Preparing monthly reports.

Candidate Requirements
You will need to be organised, self-motivated and be able to work as part of a small team. The role involves travel across the UK, therefore you must also be a confident and safe driver, with a full driver's licence.

Skills & Experience
• Excellent face-to-face and telephone communication skills
• Strong numerical skills
• Experience of MS Word & Excel
• Previous experience in sales.
• Full clean driving licence
• Knowledge of the construction / Insulation industry would be beneficial.

Hours of Work:
Full Time (37.5)
Monday to Thursday - 8.15am to 5.00pm, with a 45 min break.
Friday - 8.15am to 2:15pm, with a 30 min break.

Salary & Benefits:
•£40k to £50k - negotiable dependent on experience
