About the Role:

We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled EYFS Supply Teachers to work on a flexible, on-call basis across primary schools in the Selby area. As an EYFS Supply Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of schools and students, gaining experience across different settings and supporting early childhood education where it's needed most.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality EYFS lessons that engage and inspire children in their early years.
  • Adapt quickly to new classroom environments, supporting children's development in line with EYFS standards.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere in each setting.
  • Follow school policies, manage behaviour effectively, and ensure a safe learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and caregivers to support each child's individual needs.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in EYFS teaching.
  • Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and experience in delivering lessons that promote children's holistic development.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to various teaching environments.
  • Flexibility, reliability, and a positive attitude.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo a DBS check).
