Position: European Road Freight Administrator
Location: Bedford
Work Hours: Monday to Friday
Salary: Up to £25,000 - £29,000 (DEO)
Bi-Lingual in French and English: Spoken & Written

We are recruiting for one of the UK's leading logistics and freight companies that operate worldwide and offer a full range of services in the UK, across Europe and internationally across all trade routes.

We seek a European Road Freight Administrator to support the day-to-day operations team who handle groupage trailers to various European destinations. The ideal candidate will come from a freight forwarding or logistics background.

Key Responsibilities for European Road Freight Administrator:

Entering details onto specialised Customs software including CDS, CNS, Destin8, CTS, NES etc
Liaising with clients, overseas agents and internal departments
Bi-Lingual in French and English - being able to communicate with French overseas partners
Taking bookings from the Operations team and inputting into the system
Checking customer invoices
Charge and costing shipments
Resolving and managing queries and complaints
Speaking with Hauliers to resolve any issuesRequirements:

Experience of working within a freight forward or logistics company desirable
Bi-Lingual in French & English is essential
An understanding of customs procedures is advantageous
Self-motivating with the ability to organise your work load effectively
Ability to operate windows based applications and any other software that is standard within the industry.
Work in a fast-paced environment
Experienced user of Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word and OutlookPlease note - training will be provided
