Job Duties:

The KS2 Teacher will be responsible for planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons to Key Stage 2 pupils. They will assess and monitor student progress, provide feedback to students and parents, and create a positive learning environment. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues and participate in school events and meetings.

Required Qualifications:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

- Relevant degree in Education or related field

- Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Key Stage 2

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

At least 2 years of experience teaching Key Stage 2 students

Knowledge and Skills:

- Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners

Preferred Qualifications:

- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)

- Additional training in special educational needs (SEN)

Working Conditions:

The KS2 Teacher will work in a school setting, following the academic calendar. They may be required to attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and extracurricular activities. The role involves standing for long periods and occasional lifting of classroom materials.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
