You will be joining a client, based in the East of England. As a Drainage Engineer, you will get a year-long contract working Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.

Your new role as a Drainage Engineer with drainage experience, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Identifying highway drainage maintenance needs and prioritising work, including working with the Highways Asset Management Engineer to produce forward programmes of work, to design highway drainage maintenance and minor drainage improvement schemes in line with established design parameters including drawings, specifications and contract documentation to ensure the delivery of high quality services on time and to budget as well as much more.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful, it would be preferable that the chosen candidate will have similar experience in a similar role with a local council or authority or consultancy A civil engineering background would also be desirable.
