Toner Graham are partnering with a fast-paced service provider who operate in a sector that is experiencing tremendous growth. Based in Witney, our client is acquisitive and is growing across all parts of its business and wishes to add a talented Finance Manager who has the potential to develop as the company continues to expand.

What’s involved?

As Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include the likes of management and statutory accounting as well as management reporting. You will ideally have some experience of VAT and tax and will also have the opportunity to become involved in investment appraisal work. You will be a key audit point of contact and will have exposure to both internal stakeholders and external customers.

Person profile

We are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with statutory accounting knowledge and a sound grasp of VAT and tax. It will probably have helped to have either spent some time in practice or worked in a smaller to medium sized business so that you have seen the full breadth of it.

What’s crucial is that you can work at pace in a business that changes regularly due its growth. You will be skilled at juggling a number of competing demands and its likely you will have worked in a multi-business environment where you have had to produce multiple sets of accounts. Naturally you’ll be a great communicator with a good level of IT proficiency too. Progression opportunities are plentiful and many of the positions our client recruits are newly created.

Our client offers hybrid working and is commutable from many parts of Oxford, Oxfordshire and the surrounding Cotswolds.
