Management Accountant | 12-month FTC | North Wolverhampton | Circa £35,000 | Office Based

An immediate opportunity is available for a Management Accountant to join a supportive, friendly finance team within a well-established organisation in North Wolverhampton

The Company

Seymour John are pleased to be supporting an exciting and well-established business in Wolverhampton that are looking to strengthen their finance team with the appointment of a Management Accountant on a 12 month fixed term contract.

The Opportunity

Duties in the role will include:

• Gathering and analysing financial information for internal use to include invoices, fuel analysis and rebates
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting which assists the business planning and decision-making on patent, temporary labour, expenses and sustainability
• Evaluating the Company’s performance using key data and advise on issues and suggest continuous improvement methods
• Assisting in the preparation of the month end management accounts and management information packs
• Preparing month end journals for accruals, credit notes, prepayments, fixed assets and capex
• Supporting the Finance Manager in creating a strong and robust controls framework

Personal Profile

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established organisation in Wolverhampton, who are looking to strengthen their finance team with the appointment of an experienced Management Accountant on a 12-month fixed term contract. We are looking to speak with candidates who have experience in a similar role, matched with excellent knowledge of financial software and MS Office, particularly Excel and Powerpoint.

You must have strong interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships with all business functions and communicate effectively.
