Accept Recruitment is currently looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers for one of our well- established clients in Tyttenhanger, AL4

Requirements for role:

* Class 1 Licence CE (preferably 2 years' experience, can accept 1 year if continuous driving)

* VALID Driver Tacho Card

* VALID DQC card (Driver CPC)

* Good knowledge of legal obligations regarding operating HGV's

Day work only

You will have a roughly 5-hour induction / assessment which is paid upon your first shift - ideally, you would do 2 drops after your induction with an assessor.

Pay rate:

£17.00ph

Minimum of 10 hours paid providing you haven't finished early by choice.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

* This is a key role is to deliver goods safely to our customers whilst maintaining full legal compliance using new vehicles with the latest Technology.

* Flatbed trailer deliveries to builder merchants in the area.

* Making sure that all loads are delivered in a timely and safe manner.

* Complete all paperwork on time to a satisfactory level using the app on provided PDA.

* Assisting management on site to enable better productivity.

* Completing daily vehicle checks.
