Overview

This is a rare opportunity to lead the business change agenda for a very successful food manufacturing business.

The Role

* Identify opportunities for process optimisation, cost reduction, and operational efficiency enhancement within the current value chain.

* Collaborate with senior management to develop and define the company's technology, process and manufacturing strategy.

* Leading others to root cause complex business issues and define appropriate ways forward.

* Management of long-term strategic initiatives from concept stages to implementation.

* Evaluate, select, and oversee the implementation of solutions that support business transformation objectives, such as ERP systems and factory automation.

* Lead change management efforts by effectively communicating transformation goals and engaging stakeholders at all levels.

* Ensure project and programme governance is adequate for all programmed projects.

* Manage business change projects from concept to handover.

* Write/review business cases and financial models that are relied upon at board level.

* Provide oversight and control over budgets and reporting on project performance.

* Defining project risk management strategies and processes for all programmed projects.

* Development of the current project and programme management processes and documentation.

* Facilitating cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, leveraging technology and innovative solutions to enhance operational effectiveness.

* Monitor and report on the progress of transformation initiatives, including the achievement of key milestones and the realisation of intended business benefits.

* Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess the outcomes of transformation projects, identify lessons learned, and integrate findings into future initiatives for continuous improvement.

The Candidate

* Proven experience in leading business transformation within the food manufacturing industry or a similar sector.

* Strong project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to plan, execute, and oversee complex transformation projects from inception to completion.

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and performance optimization.

* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all organisational levels.

* Proficiency in technology integration and change management methodologies.

* Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards in food manufacturing and quality management.
