Main Responsibilities as a Complaints Handler

* Assess and resolve customer complaints efficiently and professionally, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting good customer outcomes.

* Engage with customers to understand their needs, resolve queries, and liaise with internal/external parties as necessary.

* Conduct Root Cause Analysis to identify and implement corrective actions and improvements.

* Accurately input data, complete related paperwork, and adapt to changing priorities to meet deadlines.

* Support team members and assist with departmental administration, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.

* Monitor workloads to avoid regulatory or reputational risks, achieve performance targets, and maintain punctuality and attendance.

* Follow Health and Safety regulations and contribute to a safe, organised working environment.

* Undertake other duties as assigned by senior management.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

* Customer service experience

* The ability to communicate effectively

* Previous experience within a complaints handling role

* Finance or Insurance industry experience
