Rotherwood Education are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to support the fast increasing demand from Secondary Schools in West Yorkshire.
As a Cover Supervisor you will be responsible for supervising pupils in absence of the Class Teacher, throughout the School day, in a variety of different subjects. You will be working with both KS3 and KS4 and your duties will be to:
• Set work & ensure completion by the end of the lesson.
• Follow the lesson plan set by the Class Teacher.
• Support pupils & maintain good order.
• Supervise students in a classroom setting providing a safe and stable environment
To apply you must:
• Have prior experience within a Teaching/ Coaching environment.
• You will need to demonstrate how you would hold a presence in the classroom in order to manage the student's behaviour.
• Be prepared to apply for a DBS or be registered to the online subscription.
• Provide details for two relevant referees.
