Key Responsibilities:

* Possess a strong understanding of electrical principles and surge protection installation methods.

* Have extensive experience with single and three-phase electrical installations.

* Perform electrical installations on various types of low voltage (LV) systems.

* Assess and procure necessary parts and equipment for individual tasks.

* Coordinate with the Operations Supervisor regarding planned and routine maintenance programs and reporting procedures.

* Adhere to recognized industry standards at all times.

* Maintain accurate records of all work completed, ensuring that required paperwork is submitted within defined timescales.

* Participate in flexible working hours, which may occasionally involve staying away from home, weekend work, and travel outside the home area.

* Undertake necessary training to perform job duties effectively, including health and safety courses and ongoing professional development to maintain current knowledge and qualifications.

* Act independently and take initiative as required.

Qualifications:

* Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical installation.

* City & Guilds #removed# (or equivalent) qualification in Inspection and Testing.

* NVQ Level 3.

* 18th Edition certification.

* Comprehensive knowledge of BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and other relevant standards and codes.

* Strong understanding of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and reporting software.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills.

* Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

* Valid UK driving licence (or equivalent, depending on location)
