The Opportunity:

As an Asphalt Plant Operator, you will be at the forefront of our operations, ensuring the production of high-quality asphalt while maintaining the highest standards of health and safety, sustainability, and efficiency. Your Role:

• Mixing Operations:

  • Conduct asphalt mixing to meet BSI:9001 specifications.
  • Perform pre-start inspections using our digital system.
  • Identify, record, and report any defective equipment.
  • Assist maintenance teams in monitoring and maintaining equipment.
  • Utilize control systems for fixed plant operations.

• Loading Shovel Operations:

  • Complete and record pre-start inspections.
  • Report defective equipment promptly.
  • Monitor aggregate stock levels and feed materials into the plant.
  • Drive safely according to site transport plans.
  • Operate machinery efficiently to minimize costs and environmental impact.

• Weighbridge Operations:

  • Manage vehicle loading using the control system.
  • Schedule materials for production.
  • Enter data into our internal management system.
  • Ensure vehicle compliance with safety plans.
  • Handle phone calls to and from order offices.
