GPW Recruitment is excited to present a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Electrical (EC&I) Engineer with a background in FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) to join a well-established company specializing in process plant engineering for the food, beverage, personal care, and homecare industries.

This role is perfect for an experienced engineer looking to work on a variety of projects, from initial design to final commissioning.

Key Details:

* Location: Warrington (occasional site visits required)

* Salary: Circa £60k

* Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm

* Job Type: Permanent

What You'll Be Doing:

* Electrical design, engineering, and instrumentation for process plants in the FMCG sector.

* Specifying and managing control panel manufacturing and installation.

* Designing electrical loop diagrams, cable routes, and layouts.

* Configuring and commissioning instruments, VSDs, and control systems (Siemens/Rockwell).

* Ensuring compliance with hazardous area regulations (ATEX).

* Supporting site teams during installation and commissioning.

* Producing technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and project manuals.

What We're Looking For:

* 7+ years of experience in electrical process system design and engineering, preferably in the FMCG industry.

* HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or equivalent industry experience).

* Experience with control panel design, instrumentation, and hazardous area regulations.

* A proactive and resourceful approach with strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.

A UK Driving License and willingness to travel occasionally
