Location: London, hybrid working offered (3/4 days WFH per week)

Our client, an EV Charging Infrastructure group headquartered in London with operations across the globe, are currently seeking a technically adept Finance Manager to join their finance team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the statutory accounting process, ensuring all entities accounts are submitted on time to Companies House. Responsibility for compliance to accounting standards (IFRS and UK GAAP).
  • Manage the relationship with the JV partner, lead the financial reporting for the quarterly board meetings
  • Main point of contact for both internal and external auditors, ensuring any issues are resolved.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly and year-end accounting process, ensuring all internal and external deadlines are met.
  • Manage the VAT and Duty figures to be provided to external advisors to complete HMRC return.
  • Actively monitor cash flow for all assets to ensure adequate liquidity in particular with regards meeting debt repayments and preparation of liquidity forecasts;
  • Support development transformation from an accounting and financial reporting during planning and implementation.
  • Lead the adoption of new standards and monitor correct implementation. Management Information responsibilities
  • Present information to senior members of the organization highlighting key points and ensuring critical controlling functions (controlling on manufacturing plants, logistics, customer profitability, product costing) are relevant and accurate.

Requirements:

  • Be degree educated with ACA / ACCA /CIMA (or equivalent) professional accounting qualification;
  • Prior FP&A experience is essential
  • Prior Joint Venture accounting experience is desirable
  • Be technically competent with good knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP and financial concepts;
  • Ability to provide effective leadership and direction
  • Takes opportunities to improve performance and processes as required
  • Have excellent Microsoft office skills, particularly Excel
