Senior Salesforce Developer

Fully Remote - UK based

Great opportunity to join a small Salesforce team as their Senior Salesforce Developer. Working for a relatively small but growing financial services company which is expanding their Salesforce platform.

They're looking to hire a Senior Salesforce Developer passionate about building and optimizing solutions on the Salesforce platform (Sales and Service Cloud - Enterprise Edition). You'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying custom Salesforce applications that drive business efficiency and growth.

They are primarily focused on Invocable Actions and building custom REST API via Apex. They also have an existing applications built on PHP, so some PHP development experience is really useful.

Excellent communication skills are needed to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and you'll play a key role in leveraging Salesforce technologies to streamline processes and deliver high-impact results.

Key Responsibilities:

Building custom REST API via Apex
Utilising invocable actions within Salesforce
Collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
Develop and optimize complex workflows, triggers, and automation processes to enhance productivity
Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of Salesforce environments
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise

Key Skills and Experience:

Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer
Proficiency in Salesforce development languages: Apex, Visualforce, LWC
Built custom REST API via Apex
Worked within a small Salesforce team where you have taken on full responsibility for platform development
Deep understanding of Salesforce customization tools and declarative automation (Flows, Process Builder).
Understanding of other development tools and platforms - PHP, Laravel
Salesforce DevOps practices and CI/CD tools is a plus
Ability to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
Strong communication skills to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable Certifications:

Salesforce Platform Developer I
Salesforce Platform App Builder
Salesforce Administrator
