About the role:

If so, we want you to join our vibrant and inclusive community at our beautiful 3-form entry school and nursery in Cheshunt, London. You will support students in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. This full-time, long-term role is perfect for someone who can bring positivity and passion to the classroom, fostering an environment where every child can thrive. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement strategies that support the unique needs of each student, promoting both academic and social-emotional growth.
Application Requirements:
• Previous experience working with children with challenging behaviours.
• A genuine passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs.
• Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide tailored support to students with challenging behaviours, helping them to engage positively with their learning.
• Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to plan and deliver individualised learning programs.
• Use a range of strategies and interventions to promote positive behaviour and manage challenging situations.
• Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment for all students.
• Collaborate with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for the children.
