About the Primary School Teacher Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 6 Primary School Teacher to join a thriving and supportive mainstream primary school in Thornton Heath. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a key role in preparing students for their transition to secondary school.

Primary School Teacher Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the UK curriculum
Prepare pupils for SATs, ensuring progress and attainment targets are met
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents
Collaborate with colleagues to plan cross-curricular activities and enrichment opportunities
Maintain excellent classroom management and promote positive behaviourWhat We're Looking For:
✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
✅ Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably Year 6
✅ Strong understanding of SATs preparation and KS2 curriculum
✅ Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
✅ A creative and adaptable teaching approach
✅ Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
