Venatu Recruitment Group are working with our client, a Leeds-based company specializing in designing and manufacturing Textile Dyeing and Testing Instruments? They are expanding into new markets, and we want you to be a part of this exciting phase of growth!

About the client:

Our client are dedicated to providing top-notch support services to their global customer base. While you'll primarily be based in our site near Leeds, you'll also be required to make customer site/service visits, ensuring our clients receive the highest level of service.

What will the Field Service Engineer be doing?

Deliver a range of service activities, including installation, commissioning, customer training, repairs, preventative maintenance, calibration services, and remote technical support.

Conduct installation and service of textile manufacturing equipment.

Collaborate with the design department on product development projects.

Cultivate professional relationships with customers to foster loyalty and swiftly resolve any issues.

Maintain accurate and timely reporting of all activities, such as service reports and expense reports.

You will be on customer sites 2-3 days per week, dealing with annual maintenance contracts for their customers.

On the days when you are on the employers site you will be required Build Machinery internally, preparing products on the upcoming service activities, repairing items brought back from service visits and supporting customers on tech support.

Access to a Pool car, fully expensed will be provided and lodging away will be covered.

What we are looking for in a Field Service Engineer:

Minimum of an Electrical/Mechanical Apprenticeship, preferably with HNC/HND level of education or equivalent experience.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Strong problem-solving skills and clear communication abilities.

Commitment to Health & Safety and Quality standards.

Drive, energy, and dedication to achieving personal and company success.

Willingness to travel, both domestically within the UK and internationally to countries like Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, India, Vietnam, Colombia, Mexico, Germany, Tunisia, etc.

Possession of a valid driving license.

Proficient in English, both verbal and written.
