Working Foreman - Water Industry

My Client is a leading multi-disciplinary civil engineering and construction firm established in 2002, specialising in complex infrastructure and building projects including pipelines, water & waste water treatment, natural gas installations, airports, ports, railways and housing.

They have established long-standing relationships with a huge range of major Principle Contractors. They have a proven track record delivering civil engineering projects in the Utilities, Industrial, Transport and Housing sectors.

Working Foreman - Water Industry

They are seeking a Working Foreman to join their team working on projects in Southampton, Lewis, Colchester and Peterborough, as well as other parts of the country.

The Working Foreman must have a good knowledge of water industry pipework.

The role will require working away from home, lodging will be paid for.

Duties

The candidate would need to have a broad pipework knowledge of Polyethylene and Ductile iron pipework mainly large diameter, whilst having experience at work within temporary works at depths up to 7m deep.

The candidate should have supervision experience as well as the appropriate certification such as SSSTS or SMSTS, I would also expect them to have National Water Hygiene tickets.

Experience

The candidate would come from a background of Civils companies that have worked on the water framework for various Water Authorities.

Salary

The salary on offer for this role is £60k-£70k+package,depending upon previous experience.
