ECT DT Teacher
Location: Redbridge
Salary: £185 - £265 per day
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Long Term/Permanent

GSL Education London Branch are seeking an enthusiastic ECT DT Teacher to join an Ofsted-rated 'Outstanding' school in Redbridge. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Early Career Teacher who is passionate about Design and Technology and eager to inspire students in a supportive and dynamic learning environment.

Responsibilities of an ECT DT Teacher:

Plan and deliver engaging DT lessons across KS3 and KS4.

Foster a creative and stimulating classroom environment.

Support students in developing their practical skills and theoretical knowledge.

Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.

Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the DT curriculum.

Ensure health and safety procedures are followed in practical lessons.

Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.

Requirements for an ECT DT Teacher:

Hold QTS or be working towards obtaining it.

Specialism in Design and Technology, with the ability to teach across a range of DT disciplines.

Strong classroom management skills.

A passion for teaching and inspiring young minds.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

A commitment to ongoing professional development.
