Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Leader required to join a global, market leading engineering Manufacturer.
 
The successful Sales Manager / Business Development Manager/ Sales Leader will be managing a talented sales team that specialises in Oil Free Compressors plus personally managing Key accounts and generating new business opportunities via distribution and OEM customers into various compressed air industries.
 
The Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Leader will ideally have a proven track record selling or managing sales teams within the compressed air sector such as Compressors, Vacuums, Blowers, Dryers, Oil free Compressors, air fittings, nitrogen generators or similar compressed air related products or services.

£55,000-£65,000 + (OTE £75,000) depending on experience

Sales Manager / Business Development Manager/ Sales Leader Role

Managing several key accounts via the distribution channels and OEM customers into various industries.
Manage and grow existing relationships as well as business development selling various compressed air products and the services maintaining Oil free Compressed Air equipment.
Optimise operational effectiveness and foster strategic partnerships to achieve revenue and margin targets.
Oversee a skilled sales team, including field sales engineers and Business Development Managers UK wide.
Work closely with the UK Managing Director to align sales strategies with company objectives.
Strengthen our presence in key sectors with tailored compressed air solutions.
Promote teamwork and effective communication within the sales team.
Working closely with the Service Department to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided.
Liaise with various engineering departments UK Wide 
 
Sales Manager / Business Development Manager/ Sales Leader Requirements.

Experience selling or servicing mechanical engineering equipment such as compressors, Blowers, Dryers, vacuums and similar products. A Manufacturing Engineer Process Engineer or Service Engineers with compressed air experience looking to come off the tools and progress into sales would also be of interest.
Proven track record of success in managing sales teams, ideally within the compressed air industry or similar.
Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable engineering manufacturer.
Experience as a Sales Manager, Sales Leader, Business Development Manager, Sales Engineer, Key Account Manager or similar role within the compressed air sector is advantageous.
Strong leadership abilities to inspire and guide a team towards achieving sales targets.
Willingness to travel extensively across the UK (more than half of the time).•A technical engineering qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous
