Salary: £55000 - £65000/annum profit share

As a result of the increasing awareness of our reputation within the insurance industry, we require surveyors to manage the additional workload in the southern region. This is a busy and varied role and will involve working on a wide range of projects, including insurance work, primarily residential and commercial buildings in all forms of construction. We have ambitious plans to expand over the next few years and are looking for people who share the same vision.
Job Title: Building Surveyor / Senior Building Surveyor Basic Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 pa. Dependent on experience Bonus: High Profit Share Bonus 14 - 22% achieved in recent years. O T E: £60,000 - £80,000 pa. Contract: Permanent.
Reporting to: Regional Director.
Start date: Immediate.
Essential Candidate Attributes:
• Organised, efficient and reliable individual who is thoroughly professional and must be committed to a long-term career with the company.
• MRICS or experienced non RICS qualified.
• All applicants must hold a full UK driving licence.
• Experience in handling design/contract administration.
• Experience and understanding of CAD, CDM Regs 2015, The Party Wall etc. Act 1996, Building Regulation and Planning Legislation.

Building Surveyor Responsibilities:
• Inspect and provide advice on the design, construction, maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of all types of buildings and sites.
• Inspections to involve measured surveys, defect diagnosis and associated investigations.
• Determine the condition of existing buildings, identify, and analyse defects, including proposals for repair.
• To prepare reports, specifications and drawings for the repair, refurbishment, demolition, and re-building of all types of buildings.
• To tender projects and provide post tender analysis.
• To oversee works using recognised building contracts and to current technical standards
• Work independently as project lead with sound knowledge on all aspects of professional consultancy services.
• To understand and apply other relevant legislation such as health and safety, party wall, building regulations and planning legislation.
• To play an active part in promoting the company's services to secure projects and promote the business
