Our Client are an established organisation within the insurance sector. Based in Newcastle they are looking to recruit a test analyst to Join their expanding IT team. As a Test Analyst you will play a key role in delivering high-quality software solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to work on in-house developed applications alongside a dynamic team of Developers and Business Analysts.

About the Role

Reporting to the Lead Business Analyst, you will be a crucial part of the Solutions Development Team, ensuring our software development projects meet the highest standards. Your expertise in end-to-end testing will help drive successful project delivery, covering:

* Functional and non-functional testing

* Integration and regression testing

* User Acceptance Testing (UAT) coordination

* Business readiness preparation and transition support

We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Test Analyst with:

* 2+ years' experience in application testing

* Proven ability to write and execute test plans and scripts

* Strong experience in integration and regression testing

* Confidence in UAT coordination, business readiness, and training

* Excellent communication skills to collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders

* ISTQB Certification or an equivalent qualification

Experience in the financial services sector is highly desirable, as is previous involvement in multiple testing projects.
