I’m currently working on a fantastic opportunity for a Safety, Health & Environment Trainer to join a major developer, building residential communities across the UK. Are you a Health & Safety-trained professional with demonstrable construction and training experience? As Health, Safety & Environment Trainer, you will be someone who can assist them in becoming a CITB Approved Training Organisation (ATO), enabling them to deliver in-house Site Safety Plus training courses. Key competencies include:
• Delivery of CITB Accredited training including SMSTS, SSSTS
• Delivery of internal SHE related training courses
• Review and update of CITB and internal training courses to keep in line with any legislation updates etc.
• Delivering most courses online, allowing agile working although with occasional UK travel
• Delivering a suite of internal bespoke training courses including, traffic management, on-boarding for build teams and general safety awareness. This is a brand-new role and an excellent opportunity to really make an impact. The role is home-based, mainly delivering training online with occasional UK travel. As such, you can be based anywhere. Key criteria they are looking for is:
• A team player who is confident and approachable and forward thinking
• Level 3 (or higher) Award in Education and Training (PTLLS)
• Extensive occupational experience in a construction or health & safety related role or training within these sectors
• NEBOSH or H&S Diploma-qualified
• Excellent communication, people, IT and written skillsYou will earn a very competitive salary of between £45-50,000 plus car/car allowance, bonus and package.
