Quantity Surveyor, Milton Keynes

A national, multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking a Quantity Surveyor - or a Senior QS - to join its growing team in Milton Keynes. Projects span many sectors with a current focus on end-user Retail and large publicly funded developments.

The Quantity Surveyor's Role

The successful Quantity Surveyor will work on fast-moving end-user Retail projects - fit-outs of new and existing stores - from the outset, adding a wide range of other sectors over time, to include major publicly funded developments, heritage projects, and more.

You will take on a project from initial feasibility, agree contract sums, manage delivery, change control, valuations, agree final accounts. Initial retail projects range in value from £40K to over £2m.

There is scope to take on increasing responsibility from early in the role, including management, and career progression will be swift.

The Quantity Surveyor

* BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying

* 3+ years' Quantity Surveying experience

* Construction Consultancy background is essential

* Driving licence and car

* Pre contract exposure

* MRICS or looking for APC support
