- The rate of pay is: £13.94
Main Responsibilities: Reporting to the Engineering Manager, as Maintenance Operatoryour main responsibilities will include:
- Maintain existing machinery and equipment across the site by undertaking planned preventative maintenance work and testing on a regular basis
- Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns or other engineering problems ensuring down time and disruption is kept to a minimum
- Accurately complete all documentation required by the business and collaborate with the Health and Safety Manager to identify and resolve Health and Safety issues across the site where possible
- Work together with Engineering and non-Engineering employees to identify efficiency improvements and cost savings on the Production lines and machines
- To have in place systems and procedures to support the Engineering Manager and carry out all planned maintenance activity
- Contribute to the development of the Engineering team
- To adhere to all Health and Safety legislation and to actively promote a safety culture
