Assistant Estates Manager (Shifts) - NHS - Birmingham - Salary (with shift allowance) up to £59k.

As the Assistant Estates Manager you will be responsible for a shift team of seven engineers; two Electrical, two Mechanical, two Maintenance Assistants and a Carpenter. You will work a 12 hour, 4 on 4 off shift (2 days, 2 nights then 4 off) 7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am.

Salary is up to £48k plus a 22% shift allowance taking the overall package to £59k. Free parking on site and/or commutable by train.

You will be one of four shift AEM's managing reactive and planned maintenance across an extensive acute hospital site. Preferably with an HNC in a relevant subject, you should have a strong Mechanical or Electrical background ideally with healthcare experience and PFI knowledge although this isn't essential. You will also be trained to become an authorised person in the relevant disciplines for your background and the site requirements.

This contract is in year 14 of a 35 year concession.
