Senior Java Engineer

We are thrilled to collaborate with an e-trading technology company to find Senior Java Engineers to join their team and work on a new eTrading product. With a history of delivering solutions for banks and asset managers in the Fixed Income and Derivatives Markets, this rapidly expanding company is an exciting opportunity to progress and continue learning in a new role.

A great Senior Java Engineer will:

• Have a Computer science, Mathematics, or related degree from a top Russell Group university
• Have commercial Core Java experience
• Be happy with full-time pair-programming
• Have a clear understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Be a strong communicator
• Have experience with heavy multithreading and concurrency

As a Senior Java Engineer you will:

• Build resilient and adaptable fintec platforms and components in Java
• Refractor code to improve design
• Focus on Core Java, with heavy emphasis on multithreading and concurrency
• Work on developing a new eTrading product
