NXTGEN excited to share an opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a leading industry partner on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This Management Accountant role is your chance to make a significant impact as a key member of the finance team, reporting directly to the Site Finance Lead. As a Management Accountant, your expertise will be vital in driving financial performance within an innovative and complex manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyse weekly and monthly management accounts, delivering actionable insights to optimise operational performance.
  • Partner with operational teams to assess and understand financial metrics in your area, ensuring robust financial oversight.
  • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of internal systems (JDE and MI) through continuous updates and audits for reliable reporting of KPIs.
  • Develop, manage, and assess budgets and forecasts, supporting strategic site-level decisions.
  • Monitor and report variances against budget for CI and capital projects to promote financial efficiency.
  • Lead product costing across four operational units, ensuring accuracy and clarity in reporting.
  • Ensure CMS calculations are completed within budget timelines, aligning with financial guidelines.
  • Uphold company policies and internal controls, acting as the audit-ready expert within your remit.

What We Are Looking For:

  • You are CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified or part-qualified, actively pursuing your professional development.
  • You have relevant experience in finance within a manufacturing setting, bringing valuable industry insights.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Excel, enable you to effectively analyse and present financial data.
  • Excellent communication skills, allowing you to convey financial information clearly to non-financial teams.
  • You possess strong organisational and prioritisation skills, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive and driven attitude with a strong desire to achieve results and contribute to team success.
