Job description:

This is an office-based role, but the successful candidate will need to cover all classrooms and the kitchen when needed, and supervise all 39 members of staff daily across the 5 classrooms.

Salary: £40k+

Rotating shifts:

* Opening Nursery: 7am-4pm

* Closing Nursery: 9:30am-6:30pm

The nursery is open all year round except for Bank Holidays and 2 weeks over Christmas.

Start date: Flexible - sometime between now and August.

The candidate needs to live within fairly close proximity to the nursery and preferably have a qualification higher than Level 3. They also need to have at least 1 year of recent senior experience in a day nursery.

We can accommodate parking if necessary.

Must haves:

* In-depth knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Strong leadership and organisational abilities

* Ability to work effectively in a team and independently

* A positive and proactive attitude towards work
