Group Sales & Events Co-Ordinator

Do you have Hotel or Venue Event sales experience? Would you like to develop your experience in a proactive Meetings & Events sales role?

Based at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in London, De Vere is seeking a Group Sales & Events Co-Ordinator to join the team supporting the De Vere portfolio.

As the Group Sales & Events Co-Ordinator you will report to the Director of Meetings & Events Sales in delivering a first class, professional booking management service, whilst maximizing revenue and achieving budgeted targets across the De Vere portfolio.

In return you will receive a salary of £27,000 per annum plus a sales bonus incentive scheme worth up to 10% of your annual salary and excellent benefits including £50.00 staff stays with De Vere Hotels and a paid day off to celebrate on your birthday to name just a few!

Your skills and experience

• You will ideally have event sales/planning experience or proactive sales experience from within the hospitality sector such as Hotels, Restaurants or Event Venues

• You have excellent communication, organisation and presentation skills to be able to positively represent De Vere

• You are confident using IT software - familiarity with Opera software would be beneficial but is not essential as training can be provided

• Most of all, you will share our values such as being graciously warm, demonstrating a genuine approach, anticipating guest needs and ensuring every detail is considered
